Two vignettes for St. Valentine's Day...

...me, and Samuel, both wrote two vignettes for St. Valentine's Day; relating to Soul Calibur, and both were put up on deviantART;

A cute scene with my character, Shadowmitsu/Sha-mitsu; and Raphael Sorel... Sha-mitsu does not know something in French, but Raphael does... wasn't originally written for this event; however, I decided to use it, because I had nothing else... :)

Sam wrote this for me on St. Valentine's Day; after reading the scene I wrote... I really love this scene so much. <3 And Sam wrote it very well; also, featuring Sha-mitsu, and Raphael Sorel, who notices Sha-mitsu curiously watching him in the marketplace... Yoshi-san (Yoshimitsu, obviously) even appears in this. ^____^

...and next time, we'll try to write actual short stories... I did have some ideas for stories for the short writing; but I never got around to it... :(

Excuses?

Well, four days until St. Valentine's Day; and apparently, no CTM Writer has produced even a draft manuscript for a short story... argh... -_-'

My "excuse" - I'm sick, and been busy with art trades/requests on deviantART, before I got really sick...

Samuel, and Robert's, "excuse" - they have better things to do, and have been working on the doujinshi of Kilik, and Maxi... plus, they haven't been able to borrow my laptop, because of the artwork I'm working on - and the family computer is always being hogged up.

Steven's "excuse" - poor Steven got snowed in Kentucky, and had to be moved elsewhere... argh, poor guy... :(

Matthew's "excuse" - well, honestly, he never really agreed to writing a short story, so yeah... plus, Robert still has to get back to Matt on YouTube anyway... hm.

Okayies... so yeah... St. Patrick's Day will probably be better for the whole short story writings. :(

We're deciding to perhaps create a 'doujinshi' group, as a counter to CTM-Studios; which is for our original works.

DarthPhoenix17 will be our doujinshi group, for all of our fanworks. :)

As I mentioned in my own journal; Sam, and Rob, are working on a Soul Calibur webcomic, starring Kilik, and Maxi; so that's our first doujinshi. ^_~

...just wish we had a scanner... :(

Oh! And I've decided to change my short story for St. Valentine's Day, to a comedy romance short story... also more elaborated on, in my own journal. :)

Short stories... maybe not?

There are only two weeks left until St. Valentine's Day... and I think that only my brothers, and I, are writing for that... but we have yet to start. :(

Saint Valentine's Day - Short Stories!

All CTM writers are going to be writing a short story, for St. Valentine's Day, and that day shall also serve as the deadline! ;)

Right now, I'm thinking of writing an old Japanese romance story, which will probably, 'borrow', some actual fictional characters; thus, that one would be more of a fanfiction, but ah well... it's still writing, no? ;P

I think Sam, and Rob, are planning to write something together, since Sam isn't actually all that interested...

Matt did say he'd help out with stuff for Valentine's Day, so I hope that means he plans on writing, too...

...and Steven? Haven't actually seen Steven online that much recently. :S

Anyway, I'm posting in here to make a quick update on things - no progress has been made with the website yet, but perhaps tomorrow. Regardless, my brothers, and I, talked about setting up different projects - assignments, if you will - for ourselves, and the CTM writers to work on; such as perhaps short stories for holidays!

The next holiday is Valentine's Day, so I guess the obvious theme of that would be... romance, as clichéd as that is... I just hope that Matt, and Steven, like the idea; and if so, I hope everybody will have fun! ;)

...normally, I "abuse" (overuse) smilies... but the smilies get to take a break, since today wasn't that great... :(

*sigh*

Hopefully, the next update will be more eventful - Samuel, and Sir Robert L. Holmes still both have to sign up... as does Steven Gayle, and Matthew Villani.

I have just created the team blog for CTM-Studios! Let's hope we keep it updated regularly! ^_^

...I know we have updates that go on the main homepage; but we could use this to elaborate on various news, relating to CTM-Studios, projects, or just life in general. :)

Hmm... I suppose here we could offer previews, when we are working on projects; like I use my own art blog to show works-in-progress, and whatnot... but not only limited to art previews, perhaps even previews of writings, videos, music, etc.

...umm... me, Sam, and Rob, will definately try to keep this updated; and hope that so will Stevie, and Matt. (C'mon guys! *puppy eyes* ^_^)
